300ml recently pressed clementine juice
200ml recently pressed lemon juice
500g fine sugar

Ingredients for the Cocktail (produces 850ml, to serve 10)

400ml decent vodka

150ml peach liqueur
200ml clementine syrup (see above)
Fresh cranberries, as a garnish

Method

Making the Cordial: Put the listed items in a pan, bring to a light boil, stirring until the sugar dissolves. After that, take off the stove allowing it to cool completely. Transfer into a sealable bottle, seal keeping it chilled, it can be stored for up to a month.

To make Premix: Pour all the spirits and syrup into one big jug, allow it to infuse for an hour, then strain preferably using cheesecloth, making it perfectly clear.

When ready to serve: Measure 85ml from the premix into a cocktail shaker containing ice, and stir carefully for a minute to chill. Strain to a cold coupe glass or equivalent, decorate with some cranberries and complete it with a brief mist of the essential oil above the glass.
